The IBS Interrupt™ Perspective: True relief doesn’t come from chasing the latest gut microbiome trends – it starts by understanding how your IBS actually works.
The Frustration Loop: Spending your precious free time recovering from unpredictable flares, trying countless remedies that don’t work, and being told by authority websites that you just have to live with it.
The Big Shift: Realising that your chaotic flares follow specific, hidden patterns that you can start understanding in just minutes a day using Open Up Your IBS.
Key Takeaway: Identifying IBS triggers is the first part of the 3-step IBS Interrupt™ Process.
How to beat IBS frustration
No-one talks about IBS frustration. The sheer frustration of doing your utmost to appease “the beast” – and still having a last-minute flare-up. An IBS flare-up that can sink your day, several days – or your entire week.
The biggest frustration with IBS is when nothing really works to relieve those IBS symptoms that just keep coming. Nobody realises how much IBS symptoms are chaotic, embarrassing and even downright painful.
IBS frustration at its worst
A big part of the frustration with IBS is not really knowing what to do next. Having the impression that IBS is quietly (or not so quietly) ruining your life. And not feeling in control of it.
Everyone has been talking about the vagal nerve and gut microbiome for the last 10+ years. But as far as I can see, this isn’t getting IBS sufferers much actual relief. And it just increases frustration around IBS.
You get the message that “something is wrong with you”, but no-one can really tell you what, or how to fix it.
All the main authority IBS websites still state that there is no cure for IBS. This just keeps you frustrated and going round in circles. And using most of your free time dealing with or recovering from IBS flares.
No-one knows just how many things you have tried to get relief. Or how much time you spend looking for something – anything – that can help relieve that feeling in your body.
I know that feeling VERY well, as I suffered with IBS for 25 years.
I spent so much of my time either dealing with the symptoms, catching up or preparing for the next IBS flare. While years went by…
How to break the frustration cycle
To start breaking the cycle I had to get to know that whole IBS thing much more intimately.
25 years of specialists had shown me that no-one really knew what they were talking about. No-one seemed to really understand the “why” behind IBS.
Or what do to appease it.
So I began challenging common beliefs around Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Above all I began experimenting on myself. Trying to work out what might be triggering me and noticing patterns. And over time (a few years) I came to see and understand the patterns.
To do this I actually stopped working for a while. That’s how determined I was. It was really tight financially – but I just couldn’t get a clear head any other way.
If you are battling with IBS, a job and/or a family, you probably don’t have the time or bandwidth to do this.
But what if you could start getting much clearer in 10-20 minutes a day for a couple of weeks? Sounds much more doable, right?
This is exactly why I designed a 14-day journey of small experiments and explorations that take 10-20 minutes a day. Ones that will light up the path out of IBS for you.
You are down in the trenches with IBS.
It’s not a life…
I went to hell and back with IBS – and actually learnt SO much from reversing it. And it makes my day to see people recover and feel free again.
So get on board, and start proving everybody wrong. This is worth your time.
